We are living in a world today that is filled with so much uncertainty and as we continue to celebrate Jesus in the midst of a  pandemic; we must realize that things have changed. Church ministry does not look or work the way it use to work.

All throughout scripture people just like you and I oftentimes did not want to move into a new way of doing things with a new vision to serve God. The Lord said to the prophet in Isaiah 43:19, “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Our vision to do the work of ministry on any given Sunday must be in the expectation of us operating in God’s vision for our ministries, church families, and ministry direction. As church leaders we cannot afford to be the “blind leading the blind;” we must move outside of what is ordinary into the extraordinary, because we trust that God’s hand is on our ministries and our lives and He wants to give us New Vision to walk in this New Normal.

In 2nd Corinthians 5:7, we are reminded to “walk by faith and not by sight.” We must live out our lives with a new vision for ministry that is consistent with God’s promises, because He is the source of new vision. We receive new vision by yielding to the One who has the power to create and give vision for us to transition into a creative way to share the Gospel message of Jesus Christ to the world at large.

A year before the pandemic, the Lord was giving me vision to maximize the opportunity to share the Gospel with people outside the four walls of our church building so that sinners could receive Salvation and Christians could grow stronger in their faith in God. In the second week of March of 2019 we started streaming our Sunday services live and updated our Facebook page as well as starting a YouTube channel for our ministry; little did I know that a year later we would have to close the doors to our church building because of Covid-19.

God had given us a new vision to do His work of ministry in a way that we had never previously ministered. In being obedient to God’s new vision for our ministry, the Lord  has enlarged our territory and given us greater opportunity to impact people from 10 different states and 13 different countries with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God gave us a new vision to do the work of ministry, so we must come to know that His Vision is always by His Strength and in His Purpose for the mission of His Church. SO KEEP TRUSTING GOD TO SEE EVERYTHING IN YOUR LIFE WITH HIS NEW VISION.
